On 17th of March approximately thousand of sportsmen ran along Al Farabi avenue — the “Spring race” went the distance. It is a final stage of preparation for the most outstanding running event in Central Asia – “Almaty marathon”, which will take place on 22nd of April.

Prospect Al-Farabi will be blocked in Almaty for the spring race
On Saturday, March 17, Al-Farabi Avenue will be closed in Almaty for the time of the Second Spring Run holding within the frameworks of Almaty Marathon. Cars movement will be limited from the northern part of the avenue from Kozybayev street up to Mustafin street.
