On April 20-21the Palace of Sports after Baluan Sholak will host the Sports Fair. This is a real sports expo, which is annually held in the framework of the Almaty Marathon. The fair will also host the issuance of more than 14 thousand starting kits to participants.
In addition to the exhibitors’ stands, which are about 30 companies: producers and distributors of the best sports goods, services, representatives of other marathons and sports competitions, various informative lectures will be held on the site. Here also a healthy nutrition area will be presented and consultations from sports medicine specialists will be organized. The event is held on the eve of the main start of the country for the third year in a row.
The main rule of the Sports Fair is as much activity as possible! The event will include master classes and mini-competitions in functional training, duathlon, group-cycle and yoga. Competitions and actions will be organized at the Fair’s exhibitors.
The main area of the Sports Fair is the issuance of starting kits to the participants of the Almaty Marathon. Only during these two days more than 14 000 participants will be able to take their kits.
«This year the Sports Fair will be held for the third time. We see great interest in the event from both exhibitors and visitors. This year, lecture component has been enlarged, and there are more master classes. We notice that the interest of Almaty residents in amateur sports in general is growing. During the year, our team will hold many sporting events, among which are races, bike races, swim. We will be happy to see everyone! », said Saltanat Kazybayeva, director of Almaty Marathon.
The Sports Fair will be held on April 20 and 21 at the Palace of Sports and Culture after Baluan Sholak. The Fair’s opening hours are from 10:00 to 21:00. THE ENTRANCE IS FREE!
