The Almaty Marathon 2021 is the 10th anniversary marathon.
Date: September 26, 2021.
Distances: 10 km, Nordic walking, 21.1 km, 42.2 km, Ekiden Relay Race.
Participation fee:
10 km – 7000 tenge.
10 km Nordic walking (10 km) – 7000 tenge.
21,1 km – 8000 tenge.
42,2 km – 9000 tenge.
Ekiden Relay Race – 150 000 tenge.
A 10-km distance is for runners of 15 years and older.
Winners and awardees will be awarded with medals, certificates and prizes.
A 10-km Nordic walking distance is for runners of 15 years and older.
A prerequisite is covering the distance with Nordic walking poles. There is no rewarding.
A 21.1-km distance is for runners of 18 years and older.
Winners and awardees will be awarded with cash prizes, medals, certificates and prizes.
A 42.2-km distance is for runners of 18 years and older.
Winners and awardees will be awarded with cash prizes, medals, certificates and prizes.
Total prize-fund: to be announced.
Ekiden Relay Race is for amateur athletes of 16 years and older, participating in a team of 6 members.
Winners and awardees will be awarded with medals, cups, certificates and prizes.
A portion of the funds generated by the entry fees from participants will be spent on annual charitable goals.
The launch kits will be issued from September 24-25 from 10: 00 to 21: 00 Address: 42 Timiryazeva str., Atakent KCDS, Pavilion 11.
On other days, no starter kits are issued.
All runners completing the distance will be awarded with a finisher medal.
