“Almaty Marathon” Swim Race is a brand-new “Almaty Marathon” project – an open water swimming competition.
Competition date: July 2, 2017
Venue: Kapchagai, Heaven’s Club recreation area
Age categories:
18-34 men and women
35-40 men and women
41-50 men and women
50+ men and women
Start at: 10 a.m.
Start format: start in clusters of 20 people
All finishers will be awarded with the commemorative medal of first-of-a kind open water swimming race.
Competitors’ registration shall be carried out until the maximum number of participants - 200 people - is reached.
Participation fee:
500 m – 5 000 tenge
1000 m – 7 500 tenge
2000 m – 10 000 tenge
Participation fee includes transfer (Almaty-Kapchagai-Almaty) and lunch after the finish.
Transfer get-together time and place: will be announced additionally
Only competitors in sport outfit (sports swimming trunks, sports swimsuit) wearing swimming glasses and swimming cap will be allowed for the start.
For registration the competitor must fill in a registration form at the “Almaty Marathon” website.
Distributing of start packages will be made:
on June 28 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
on June 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The competitor must have:
an identity card copy
an acknowledgement of the responsibility for competitor’s own health.
Competitors without chips will not be allowed for the start!
