TAU JARYS

Tau Jarys is a cross-country race with a low elevation gain and a family festival.

Date: 29 May 2022

Venue: Almaty Region, Alatau Ski and Biathlon Complex

Distances:

2 km (14-17 years old),

6.5 km (15 years and over),

13 km (15 years and over).

Start time will be announced later.

Please register online and pay the entry fee to participate.

Entry Fee:

13 km – 12,000 KZT,

6.5 km – 10,000 KZT,

2 km – 5,000 KZT.

Fees paid for participation are non-refundable and cannot be re-registered.

Starter kits will be issued from 26 to 27 May 2022 in Almaty, from 10:00 to 20:00, at fitness club World Class Almaty (89 Nauryzbay Batyr St.).

Please take a copy of your ID card and a printed Health Acknowledgement with you.

If you cannot pick up your kit in person, your friends can do it for you by presenting a copy of your ID card, a copy of their ID card and your Health Acknowledgement signed by you. All documents must be printed.

Participants under 18 are also required to provide copies of their parents’ ID cards and a handwritten Acknowledgement Note from their parents.

Age Categories:

2 km (children's distance): 14-17 years old.

6.5 km, 13 km:

• 15-34 years old;
• 35-49 years old;
• 50-59 years old;
• 60+.

Absolute champions for 6.5 km and 13 km will be awarded with a cash prize, a medal, a diploma and valuable prizes.

Winners in the age categories for 2 km, 6.5 km and 13 km will be awarded with a medal, diploma and valuable prizes.

All finishers of the run will receive a commemorative medal.
